Yes. Caddi is free on the App Store and Google Play.

1. Install Caddi from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the link your organiser sent you (it looks like caddigolf.app/your-trip).
3. Sign in with your email.

Note: With Caddi installed, your trip link opens straight into the app. If you can't find Caddi in your country's App Store, or you'd rather not install anything, the same link works in your phone browser.

Tip: The itinerary, tee times and draw, live scoring, leaderboard, rooms and polls are all in Caddi.

Enter your email and tap Continue. A 6-digit code is emailed to you. You can also continue with Apple, or with Google in a browser. A password is optional.

• Check your spam / junk folder.
• Make sure you typed the same email address your organiser used to invite you.
• Wait a minute and request the code again. Only the most recent code works.

Note: Still stuck? Ask your organiser to confirm the email on your invite, or email us at hello@caddigolf.app.

No. On the sign-in screen, tap Use a password instead, then Set or reset password. A link to set a password is emailed to you. After that, sign in with your email and password instead of a code.

Enter your handicap manually in your Caddi profile.

Note: Use your handicap number, not your Golf Link or Golf Australia ID. Caddi does not pull handicaps from Golf Australia. Handicaps lock two days before the trip.

When you register you choose men's or women's tees. At most courses the men's tees are the white tees and the women's tees are the red, but your organiser sets the exact tees for each round.

You can change your choice later in your profile, and your organiser can put you on a different tee for a round if needed.

Open your profile from your avatar in the top-right, then add or upload your photo. It shows next to your name on the draw and the leaderboard.

During a round you enter your scores hole by hole, right on your phone.

Whether the leaderboard updates live, stays hidden until your organiser releases each round’s results, or is off altogether is the organiser’s call. You’ll find it under Scores or Leaderboard when it’s on.

Tap your avatar in the top-right and choose My trips. From there you can jump between any trips you are on and accept any invites waiting for you.

• Polls: vote with one tap when your organiser opens one.
• Rooms: where you are staying and who you are with, if set up.
• Expenses: track and settle shared costs, if turned on.
• Players: who else is on the trip.

Caddi updates often, so an old version may be cached on your phone. Try, in order:

1. Close Caddi fully and reopen it.
2. In a browser, hard refresh. On a Mac, hold Shift and click refresh.
3. Still stuck? Reinstall Caddi from the App Store or Google Play.

Use the Share trip button on your trip Overview. It shares your trip link (e.g. caddigolf.app/your-trip) to the group by WhatsApp, Messages or email.

They open the link and sign in. To invite one person directly, use the Invite action on their row on the Players page instead.

You choose how players get onto your trip. There are three modes:

• Open: players with the link sign themselves up. Each sign-up uses a paid seat.
• Request: players ask to join and you approve them.
• Invite only: players join only when you invite them.

Add them on the Players page, then send the invite.

Note: If all paid seats are used, a prompt to add more appears when you invite.

Adding players is free. A seat is used when you invite a player, or when a player signs up on an open trip. Re-inviting a player already on the trip does not use a seat: use Share trip or the resend on their row.

If you are inviting a genuinely new player and you have used all your paid seats, that is when the seat prompt appears. Top up and the invite goes through.

Note: Seats are added on the web. If you are in the Caddi app, open caddigolf.app in a browser to top up.

Tip: If the prompt appears unexpectedly, hard refresh (Shift + refresh on a Mac). If it persists, email hello@caddigolf.app.

Use Share trip to send the trip link again, or Re-send invite on the player’s row on the Players page. No need to re-add them.

A trip can have more than one organiser. To invite one:

1. Tap your avatar in the top-right and choose Organisers.
2. Tap Invite organiser and enter their email.
3. They get an email that makes them an organiser as soon as they sign in.

You can resend or revoke a pending invite, and remove an organiser, from the same page.

Tip: To have Caddi set it up, email their name and email address to hello@caddigolf.app.

Players enter their handicap number, not their Golf Link ID. Or enter them all yourself on the Players page, or turn handicaps off.

Note: Caddi does not pull handicaps from Golf Australia. That integration is on the roadmap.

On the Golf page, under Settings. Handicaps apply to every trip in the group. Distances set the trip's default. Each player can change it on their profile.

Handicaps lock two days before the trip. Tap Unlock there to let players change theirs.

Set up rounds, the draw and tee times. Players enter scores on their phones during play.

You decide how the leaderboard behaves:

• Live: players see it update as scores go in.
• Release each round: hidden until you release each round’s results.
• Off: no leaderboard for players. You still see the standings.

Each player picks men's or women's tees at registration. On each round, Set tees puts the field on its tees: one choice for the men's side, one for the women's, then the few who differ are moved one by one. At most courses that is the white tees for men and the red for women.

Yes. On a round with no groups, tap Make groups and Caddi builds the draw in one tap. Once groups exist, open Edit draw and use Rebuild groups to choose the sort order. Any player can then be dragged to another group.

• Mixed: different playing partners each round.
• Leaderboard order: leaders out last.
• Even groups: handicaps spread evenly across every group.
• Tiered: lowest handicaps in the first group.

You can also set rules to keep two players together or apart. Rules apply to every round of the trip.

To build by hand, add tee times and drop players into them. Any group or tee time can be edited at any time.

Yes. Tap Import on the trip Overview and add the order-of-play file. Caddi matches the rounds, courses and players for you to check.

You can still build groups and tee times by hand, and edit either at any time.

Tip: If the file does not import cleanly, send it to hello@caddigolf.app.

Add a poll for the event (for example, Tuesday and Wednesday dinners). Once open, players RSVP with one tap. A poll can also be shown on the itinerary.

Tip: Open the poll, then send a reminder to players who have not voted.

Open the poll and ask players to RSVP themselves so the count stays accurate.

If you have a list of confirmed responses, email it to hello@caddigolf.app to have them recorded.

Yes. Tap Import on the trip Overview and add the booking as a PDF, photo, spreadsheet or email text. Caddi shows what it found for you to check before it saves.

It picks up the day-by-day schedule, players, rooms, payments and prizes. Each trip also gets its own forwarding address on that screen, so you can send a booking confirmation straight in.

Tip: For a difficult file or many files, email hello@caddigolf.app to have them loaded.

Yes. Email hello@caddigolf.app for a PDF of the itinerary in a screen edition or a print edition.

Yes. Tap Player view at the top of the screen on a phone, or See player's view on a computer, to open the trip as a player sees it. Trip › Details also shows a live preview.

There is no switch into another player's signed-in view.
